~ The July 4, 1898 Naval Battle of Santiago de Cuba ~
Join multi-award-winning author and lecturer Robert N. Macomber

July 4, 1898 was the decisive American naval victory
over the Spanish Navy at Santiago de Cuba which transformed
the United States from continental dominance into a global power.
This is the story of the opposing commanders, and how it happened,
and the poignant role honor played, with an endearing personal legacy to this day.
